Three hard-earned points
Lucas Sasha settled it at the Independência, and the Lion left Belo Horizonte with a gritty, priceless 1-0 over América-MG. That's 56 points, third place, and the feeling this side has finally learned how to win ugly. With the Série B run-in here, that's exactly what we need.
CRB up next
CRB are next, and the good news comes from the medical room: Autuori expects to have Chico da Costa available. Against a team from Alagoas that loves a scrappy game, one more option up front matters. No room for slip-ups now, because every point from here on is a step toward promotion.
Around the Pici
Before the win in BH, UFMG's model gave Fortaleza an 18.3% shot at a top-two finish, and that number has to climb. The run-in mixes home and away games, with nothing easy on it. The youth ranks are pulling their weight too: the U-15s beat Santa Cruz again and are into the Cearense semifinals.
